How Utopia works

Four steps. One Utopian Life.

  1. Answer a short questionnaire

About three minutes: what matters to you, where you are today, and an ordinary day you'd love to be living. Skip anything personal.

  2. Get a manifesto in your words

Written from your answers, in the tone you choose, with or without spiritual language.

  3. Hear it in a voice you choose

About four minutes, narrated and saved for you, with the text alongside.

  4. Take one small step a day

Listen, act, reflect. Real-world steps, not wishful thinking.

The right fit

Choose by how you like to practise

If you want lots of short stories, made quickly from whatever goal is on your mind today, Stella is built for that: type a goal and it writes and narrates a story around it.

If you want one piece that holds your whole life, Utopia asks a little more up front (about three minutes of questions) and writes one manifesto from all of it: the areas you care about, the people you show up for, your values and an ordinary day you'd love to live. You keep coming back to the same words, and they can evolve with you.

If you want help acting on it, Utopia ends each day's listen with one small, specific step, a place to note signs and wins, and a coach that knows your manifesto.

People who decide exactly when and where they'll act tend to follow through more often (Gollwitzer and Sheeran, 2006), which is why every day of the Utopia Method includes one small, specific step.

Questions

Stella and Utopia, answered

Is Utopia like Stella?

In one way, yes: both make narrated audio that's personal to you. Stella builds stories from goals you type. Utopia writes one longer manifesto from a short questionnaire and adds a daily practice around it, with a journal, a coach, meditations and songs.

Can I use both?

Of course. Some people like a quick story for the moment and a fuller manifesto for their mornings. Try Utopia's free preview and see whether it adds something.

Does Utopia have an App Store app?

Not yet. Utopia runs in your phone's browser on iPhone and Android, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

Is it free to try?

The quiz and a 20-second narrated preview are free, with no card. Premium has a 7-day free trial, then $119 a year or $19.99 a month in the US, and you can cancel in two taps.

Will a manifestation app change my life?

No app can promise that, and we don't. Utopia is a journaling and mindset tool: it helps you name what matters, hear it often and take small steps toward it. It isn't therapy and doesn't give medical, financial or legal advice.
