The right fit
Choose by how you like to practise
If you want a home for your life's story, Day One is a deep, polished journal: entries, photos, places and memories, kept in sync and encrypted.
If you want help naming where you're going, Utopia asks about three minutes of questions and writes a manifesto from your answers, then reads it to you in a voice you choose.
If you want a few minutes a day, not a blank page, Utopia's ritual is short: listen, take one small step, and note a sign or a win. Many people keep a full journal alongside it.
People who decide exactly when and where they'll act tend to follow through more often (Gollwitzer and Sheeran, 2006), which is why every day of the Utopia Method includes one small, specific step.

Can I use both?
Yes, and they fit together well: Day One for long entries and memories, Utopia for a few minutes of listening and one small step each day.
Does Utopia have an App Store app?
Not yet. Utopia runs in your phone's browser on iPhone and Android, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
